Environmental Site Assessment
Using fully accredited personnel, Building Solutions conducts ASTM standard Level One Environmental Site Assessments (Phase One ESA) and Level Two assessments when conditions are noted in a Phase One that require more in-depth investigation, sampling, and laboratory analysis.
While not required by the ASTM standard, we normally perform at least minimal asbestos sampling and analysis to screen suspected asbestos-containing materials (ACM). With an in-house licensed asbestos laboratory, we can quickly turn around analysis of asbestos samples taken in pre-demolition surveys. If asbestos is found, we can assist as your abatement consultant or prepare an asbestos O&M program to guide operations of the space in consideration of the presence of asbestos.
Schools have additional regulations, promulgated under the Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA). Many schools turn to us as to administer their Asbestos Management programs, relying on us to conduct required 3-year reinspections and oversee asbestos abatement projects as their consultant.
