Project Management

A form of “project leader”; in contrast with Construction Management, implies that the designated manager is engaged during the pre-construction phase of the development; is responsible for directing the Owner’s architect and design team; also is usually responsible for directing and coordinating any other contractors and consultants not working directly for the Architect or General Contractor; see Program Management, Construction Management; Project Leader, Owner Representative
