Building Solutions brought vital technical knowledge to the owner as the Project Manager/Owner’s Representative in conducting an architect and contractor selection process, scheduling, budgeting, and managing city approvals.

The City of Dallas had a dispute with the School concerning the building’s location regarding two platted lots and their zoning restrictions. The Building Solutions team met with the zoning department to resolve the dispute and avoid replatting which would have placed the completion date at risk and incur unnecessary expenses.

When it was determined a new fire line vault was needed for the site, the School wanted to utilize the existing one that was installed two years prior. Unfortunately the City of Dallas had no record of an existing fire line vault on file. Upon further research and utilizing the Building Solutions’ city contacts, the team was able to facilitate and expedite the inspection and approval for the School to tap into the existing fire line vault. This halted the additional cost of a new line to the School.
