LEED Advisor

Broadly refers to any LEED Accredited Professional who is charged with guiding the overall process toward achieving LEED certification of a building or campus. The LEED Administrator, who is specifically identified on any registered project, may or may not be the LEED Advisor. The Advisor may work for the Architect as a subconsultant, or for the Owner. As LEED processes undergo rapid change and are sometimes complex, a LEED Advisor’s project experience is seen as a way to improve likelihood of success and save time. All team members benefit from the exposure to a good LEED Advisor as a means of training for handling future LEED projects.
