Joe Rayburn is Director of Partner Development at Building Solutions responsible for new sales and business development. He brings over 20 years of sales and business development experience in the A/E/C industry. Having come from a consultative background, he is well-versed in the many facets of delivering complex projects and effectively communicating those solutions to our clients.

Tom is a Senior Associate of Partner Development and manages our Southeastern terrority that includes North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.

Mohammed is an Associate. With over 18 years of diversified experience in design, assessment, and construction, Mohammed holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture and a master’s degree in construction management from UTA. He has worked with a diverse range of clients across the residential and commercial real estate sectors, even having projects overseas.

Kevin Folsom is the Director of Special Projects at Building Solutions and oversees the firm’s High Performance Campus (HPC) program.

He was formerly the Director of Operations at Trinity Christian Academy, holding that position for the last seven years. Before that Kevin had a 25-year stint at Dallas Theological Seminary. He is a long time member and devoted member of APPA, one of the founders of the DFW chapter, and is currently the Chair of the APPA Standards and Code Council. Kevin is a CEFP (Certified Education Facility Professional), the highest designation awarded by APPA.

Mark is on the Assessment team as a Senior Associate. He comes to us from self-employment work as a Manager of Engineering and has over 30 years of experience in multiple disciplines such as commercial engineering, property condition assessments, MEP, and ASHRAE. Having been certified as an HVAC Technician at Dallas College, he brings a BOMI certification with LEED AP and SMA certifications.

Having moved from the Bay Area to Texas in 2018, Mark and his two cats, Poppy and Wilma, enjoy all things automotive with a passion for old motorcycles, cars, and trucks. In his free time, he likes to work on his photography skills and collect art. Additionally, as his creative outlet, he likes making music when he can with guitars and leans more towards listening to Rockabilly/Psychobilly, Texas Rock, and Alternative. For a dinner out, Mexican food is the place to be with Gloria’s being a regular visit. He’ll never forget a cold Arnold Palmer or Imperial Stout to go alongside his food. Alongside being a creative artist, he’s a practical artist as well and has built an entire house, doing everything but the foundation and sheetrock.

Darren is our first-time dual team member contributing his skills to our assessment and consulting services, which include energy efficiency and environmental management. His background includes project management and architecture. A former project engineer and designer, Darren is a Certified Associate in Project Management and plans to pursue additional certifications.

Darren earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington.
