Joe Rayburn is Director of Partner Development at Building Solutions responsible for new sales and business development. He brings over 20 years of sales and business development experience in the A/E/C industry. Having come from a consultative background, he is well-versed in the many facets of delivering complex projects and effectively communicating those solutions to our clients.

William Dillard brings over twenty five years of experience in marketing and business development in a myriad of industries including the A/E/C and Real Estate industries. His focus the past fifteen years has been with independent schools and colleges/universities. William has spoken to varying groups including MISBO, NWAIS, LMAIS, TCSA, NBOA, PAISBOA and Cal-ISBOA. As the Director of Partner Awareness and member of the Executive Leadership Team for Building Solutions, he drives the firm’s strategies and tactics in all marketing related activities.

Kevin Folsom is the Director of Special Projects at Building Solutions and oversees the firm’s High Performance Campus (HPC) program.

He was formerly the Director of Operations at Trinity Christian Academy, holding that position for the last seven years. Before that Kevin had a 25-year stint at Dallas Theological Seminary. He is a long time member and devoted member of APPA, one of the founders of the DFW chapter, and is currently the Chair of the APPA Standards and Code Council. Kevin is a CEFP (Certified Education Facility Professional), the highest designation awarded by APPA.

Tom is a Senior Associate of Partner Development and manages our Southeastern terrority that includes North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Florida.

Rodman has joined the Construction/Project Management team as a Senior Associate. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and a Master’s in Architecture from the University of Texas. With over 14 years of architecture, design, zoning, and construction project management, Rodman has provided quality service to a diverse range of clients with a special focus on multifamily and mixed-use urban infill development.

Greg is a Senior Associate in our Construction and Project Management department. He brings over 9 years of project engineering, designing, and overseeing many different project types. Greg has handled multiple clients ranging from education to multifamily projects. The knowledge gained from his exposure to different construction types and project timelines provides him with an in depth knowledge of the construction process from project’s inception to completion.

Greg earned his BA in Architecture at NewSchool of Architecture & Design in San Diego, CA.

Gavin is a Senior Associate in our Construction/Project Management team. With over 30 years of experience in construction, project management, and estimating, Gavin has worked with a diverse range of clients across the education, healthcare, military construction, and commercial building sectors.

Carlos is a Practice Leader at Building Solutions and provides senior-level process guidance to our Construction/Project Management team. His project experience includes K-12 schools, higher education, religion, and athletics. Carlos is a Professional Engineer and previously served Owners as a general contractor and as a Program Manager on simultaneous multiple building projects. As a Practice Leader, Carlos will support and collaborate with Project Managers and Project Associates throughout the life of assigned projects.

Qasim is a Senior Associate in our Assessment department. He brings over 15 years of experience in project management, architecture, and construction. He works as a freelance residential developer providing architectural designs, construction management, and project architecture.

Mark is on the Assessment team as a Senior Associate. He comes to us from self-employment work as a Manager of Engineering and has over 30 years of experience in multiple disciplines such as commercial engineering, property condition assessments, MEP, and ASHRAE. Having been certified as an HVAC Technician at Dallas College, he brings a BOMI certification with LEED AP and SMA certifications.

Having moved from the Bay Area to Texas in 2018, Mark and his two cats, Poppy and Wilma, enjoy all things automotive with a passion for old motorcycles, cars, and trucks. In his free time, he likes to work on his photography skills and collect art. Additionally, as his creative outlet, he likes making music when he can with guitars and leans more towards listening to Rockabilly/Psychobilly, Texas Rock, and Alternative. For a dinner out, Mexican food is the place to be with Gloria’s being a regular visit. He’ll never forget a cold Arnold Palmer or Imperial Stout to go alongside his food. Alongside being a creative artist, he’s a practical artist as well and has built an entire house, doing everything but the foundation and sheetrock.

Shannon is a building envelope professional with over 37 years of building restoration, roofing, waterproofing, architectural concrete and structural concrete repair. Having held multiple positions with the nations largest specialty contractors in his field a part of multiple teams and an independent contractor. Having run his own business he has a unique insight into providing accurate construction estimations, forensic investigation that will be packaged and implementable to the Client.

Shannon is currently pursuing certification as a Registered Roof Observer.

Michael is a member of the Assessment team as an Associate and has over 28 years of experience in project management and architecture. He has previous experience managing various construction projects ranging from $3M to $200M in cost and has site inspections for Education and Commercial.

Darren is our first-time dual team member contributing his skills to our assessment and consulting services, which include energy efficiency and environmental management. His background includes project management and architecture. A former project engineer and designer, Darren is a Certified Associate in Project Management and plans to pursue additional certifications.

Darren earned his Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Kelvey joins the Assessment team as a Project Analyst. He has over 14 years of experience in multiple disciplines such as mechanical, architectural, and residential development. Kelvey has also provided 3D Design Work for Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and Walt Disney Vacation Club and is an experienced UAV drone pilot.

Kelvey is the eldest of three on his mother’s side with a sister on his father’s side, with three nephews and two nieces. In his free time, he likes to get creative through 3D printing, product creation through invention and designing, baking, and creating his signature food seasonings. Bringing him outside he enjoys gardening, live music, and droning! For a dinner out he enjoys Asian, Mexican, and Caribbean food, but will never steer away from traditional Louisiana and soul foods. His go to drink is a kombucha with any meal and he may even whip up the special “Kel’s Special Tea” that consists of gingerroot, lime, cinnamon, honey, and thyme. As a “solutionist” he tends to create solutions to problems as they arise, similar to MacGyver and Bob Villa.

David Costanza is the Marketing Coordinator at Building Solutions. Having graduated from Texas A&M with a BA in Communications, he brings over 4 years of experience in marketing, event planning, and social media management. Along with other tasks, David will assist in preparing collateral material requested by potential and repeat clients, drafting qualifications statements and proposals, and helping develop a social media strategy.

David loves to read, write poetry, and take care of the various house plants he has at his home.

In his free time, David enjoys spending time at the Dallas Museum of Art, hunting for his next vinyl at a local record shop or at the various craft breweries in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
