FMConnect

A Building Solutions proprietary, cloud-based platform used for data collection and cataloguing campus assets for its facility audits.

Through a portal that is customized for each client, authorized users may access the entire database of field observations and recommendations, notes, photos, cost estimates and forecasts, as well as the facility audit report. When activated, “what if” scenarios can be created, to simulate grouping of capital needs into projects, so impacts on reserve funds can be analyzed.

FMConnect allows the Client to monitor progress on the assessment in real-time, from project kickoff to completion. It serves as a central storage location for the facility background documents, collected data, and report. It also houses management tools such as the project schedule, contact information, and project status. Among its benefits, it facilitates real-time data delivery, ease of uploading data, secure access and protocols that maintain data integrity with multiple users, ensures orderly document management, and expedites delivery of reports.

Future development of FMConnect will include tools for monitoring performance, establishing benchmarks, and providing comparisons with peer groups.
